Wollongong, NSW
Sunday Session. This new ride is perfect for winter with a later start, a longer route and a couple of (mid-strength) schooners at the end to round it all up. We start at Diggies at North Wollongong, ride up to Coledale and turn back for beers at Principle Brewing in Fairy Meadow. Ride (and drink) responsibly).
What is Leisure Coast
Cycle Club?
The laid-back Leisure Coast runs north-south along the beautiful beach suburbs in Wollongong, NSW. And it’s some of the best damn cycling in the world.
The coast winds between the towns, ocean pools and our incredible surf beaches, all against the backdrop of the Illawarra Escarpment. And here you can ride roads, bike paths and mountain biking tracks. We’ve got it all.
There’s a lot of people that take their cycling seriously. Heck, we’ve got a lot of lycra and carbon fibre ourselves.
But for the 160+ hours a week we’re not zipped up and pushing revs, Leisure Coast Cycle Club is a fun and relaxed brand that you can ride with every day.
We’re a low pressure cycle club and soon we will specialise in off-bike casual streetwear, for everyone and anytime you want those Leisure Coast vibes.
Our monthly group rides are for everyone. We won’t be pushing 30km/hr and beating Strava segments. It’s about getting together and going for a cruise and a coffee (or a beer).
Because that’s why we live for the Leisure Coast, right?

Hey, I’m Scott Keenan and I’m the founder of Leisure Coast Cycle Club.
I moved to the Leisure Coast for a more laid back way of living. And I reckon it’s the perfect place for cycling.
Getting on the bike and having a coffee or a beer is a great way to exercise, meet new people and make the most of those Leisure Coast vibes we all love.
